The Newman model for phase-change electrode materials with hysteresis

DandeLiion cloud service now supports the physics-based model (to be published) that captures the complex phase change behaviour and voltage hysteresis exhibited by LFP cathodes. You can try it online on

Battery Parameter eXchange (BPX)  is an open standard for physics-based Li-ion battery models. It defines the core battery parameters, the equations that use those parameters, and the reporting of experimental measurements used to validate the reported parameters. The standard sets out a human-readable JSON schema describing the parameters which can be used for the Doyle-Fuller-Newman (DFN) model and is designed to be portable between different simulators.

DandeLiion cloud service fully supports BPX JSON-file format import and export. Test BPX DFN simulations can be submitted online on
